We met Greenhouse Sport, an established London-based charity that has a very similar mission to us of giving a hand to underprivileged youth. We compared notes and shared our experience on impact measurement as well as running mentorship programmes.
It's heartening to see a charity from another part of the world devoted to the same good cause!
Long distance running is tough and tiring. As such it not only improves the physique of our <RUN Inspires!> students, but also develops a positive attitude amongst them.

[IHKSports Programme Recruitment - 1 year free-of-charge TAEKWONDO Inspires!]
IHKSports is starting a 1-year free-of-charge taekwondo training programme in Tuen Mun and Kowloon City district, serving 30 underprivileged aged 8-10 students.
This sports programme is free-of-charge with sports equipment, 3 belt examinations and learning activities included.
Priority to join the programme will be given to students with traits of ADHD. Moreover, applicants and their parents are required to fill in a questionnaire and interview during the selection process. *Participants must become a member of either co-organizers (Salvation Army/Sheng Kung Hui).
Our coach Ms. Law Chi-ying comes from Hong Kong Chido TKD Association. She is a Hong Kong Taekwondo Association 6th Dan Black Belt Master and had won a bronze medal at the World Police and Fire Games.
