【Sports Inspires!】2025 Highlights of IHKSports

Looking back on 2025, IHKSports has continued to evolve and progress, steadily expanding its impact while staying true to our vision of empowering better youth through sports. We express our deep gratitude to our management and service team for their unwavering dedication and hard work throughout the past year:

1. Innovating for Impact: New Programmes & Diverse Focus

We launched various new initiatives to address evolving community needs such as “Jockey Club Believe & Bounce Basketball Programme: InspiringHK Dream Factory”, providing children a chance to learn 3×3 basketball with a low-barrier entry. IHKSports will continue to expand our ecosystem to offer sporting opportunities for the community.

2. Broadening Horizons: Cultural Exchange & Exposure Opportunities

We leveraged major sporting events like the Winter Asian Games and The 15th National Games to provide our students with opportunities of cultural exchange and experience. This year, we organised impactful exchange trips to Harbin, Hangzhou, and Qianhai, Shenzhen, allowing students to experience diverse cultures and fostering communications through sports. In the Winter Asian Games, students from the Harbin exchange trip had the honour of meeting Chief Executive, Mr. John Lee.

3. Scaling for Greater Reach: Serve More Beneficiaries

Our programmes reached more children, youth and families than ever, accumulating a total of over 27,000 students. In terms of our flagship programme WELL DUNK!, we hosted the largest-ever WELL DUNK! Grand Finals at Kai Tak Arena this year with the biggest attendance recorded and upscaled our 7th season through engaging 36 teams across Hong Kong.

4. Strengthening Governance: Digital Transformation

This year, we formed a dedicated Digital Committee to lead our digital transformation, improving systems and data management for better governance.

5. Investing in Our People: Talent Development & Capacity Building

We dedicated resources to foster internal talent growth, supporting staff through training and leadership opportunities to drive continuous growth and support the organisation’s long-term success.
