S+ Summit & Expo 2025: Breaking Barriers Through Sports, Creating Equal Opportunities

IHKSports was honoured to participate in the S+ Summit & Expo 2025, hosted by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS). The event provided us with a valuable opportunity to engage in inspiring discussions with partners and connect with like-minded peers. Together, we exchanged ideas on how sports can empower youth and transform communities.

At our booth, visitors enjoyed a hands-on “Journey of Life” game, highlighting how financial barriers, time constraints, and the lack of knowledge can limit a child’s access to sports. We also included a fencing simulation, where participants could put their skills to the test, challenging their reflexes and coordination. Moreover, the MVPA60HK photo spot brought everyone together as participants dropped a colored ball into our installation — symbolising support for our goal of increasing students’ physical activity levels!

We look forward to seeing everyone again next year! Together, we are creating a future where every young person can thrive through sports!

WELL DUNK! Career Exploration Workshop

IHKSports is dedicated to providing our WELL DUNK! Public Estate Basketball League and Training Programme students with comprehensive learning opportunities beyond basketball training and competition. We were honoured to host our WELL DUNK! Career Exploration Workshop on 9 May, featuring corporate representatives from four of our esteemed team title sponsors: Eorta, PressLogic, Tiostone, and UBS.
During the workshop, corporate representatives generously shared their personal career journeys and expertise, engaging thoughtfully with our WELL DUNK! students and addressing their questions. Their insightful sharing offered invaluable perspectives to help our youths better understand diverse career pathways.
We would like to thank all the representatives from our sponsors for taking the time to attend the event, and we are grateful to LinkedIn for providing the venue, contributing to the success of the event! We hope that all students will equip themselves not only for basketball but also for life, ready to face the various challenges that lie ahead!

‘Bridging Communities, Better Connectivity’ Treasure Hunt

Swire Properties celebrated the opening of the new Two Queensway Bridge with a ceremony in mid-May, and we are honoured to be invited to organise the ‘Bridging Communities, Better Connectivity’ Treasure Hunt to showcase the footbridge’s role in connecting the Admiralty neighbourhood.
Over 200 families joined the adventure, exploring Pacific Place, Hong Kong Park and the Central & Western Promenade, participating in fun fitness challenges while discovering the vibrant Admiralty community.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Swire Properties once again for involving us in this meaningful event, which encourages families to get active and explore their community.

Tsuen Wan Community Sports Carnival

With the support of Chinachem Group and the Partnership Fund for the Disadvantaged, the Tsuen Wan Community Sports Carnival was successfully held on May 19th at the Kwai Ming Wu Memorial School of the Precious Blood, attracting over 200 families to participate in the lively event.
The carnival featured four innovative sports experience zones—alongside various interactive game booths. Through the Tsuen Wan Facts Trivia game, families gained deeper insights into local community facilities, landmarks, and recreational resources.
The flipball-making and sports mime workshops were the crowd favorites of the day! Families bonded while crafting their own flipball rackets and shuttlecock, while sports mime workshop participants built rapport through fun, interactive activities. It was a lively, energising weekend enjoyed by all!

IHKSports Team Building Day 2025

For our annual Team Building Day, we kicked off the day with an engaging DISC personality assessment workshop to better understand our individual work styles and strengthen team communication. Followed by an AI training workshop, we acquired practical skills to leverage AI tools for greater productivity and innovation in our daily work.

In the afternoon, we left the office and headed to YM-Adventure for some exciting outdoor challenges! The activities definitely tested our nerves at first, but with endless cheers and support from the team, everyone pushed through and conquered every challenge!
We hope to bring back the same team spirit to the office, fostering even greater collaboration, innovation, and success in our work!
