As we kickstarted the 6th season of our WELL DUNK! Public Estate Basketball League and Training Programme, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support! Reflecting on the growth of WELL DUNK! over the past five years is truly inspiring.
In the last 5 seasons, we have directly benefited 2,461 underprivileged youths through our professional training, regular competitions, and diverse learning activities, collectively accumulating over 202,782 hours of sporting engagement. The programme has built 142 teams, representing 55 different public housing estates across Hong Kong.
WELL DUNK! goes beyond honing basketball skills; it also focuses on nurturing positivity and resilience among youth. Our structured curriculum introduces traits such as leadership, empathy, perseverance, and healthy lifestyle choices at every level. Our “SET” impact measurement evaluations show marked improvements in the emotional well-being, motivation, sportsmanship, and teamwork among long-term participants.
