AIA Carnival Performance of
“STREET DANCE Inspires!” & “ROPE SKIPPING Inspires!”
At the dawn of 2026, students from MOVE70! Curriculum’s “STREET DANCE Inspires!” and “ROPE SKIPPING Inspires!” took to the AIA Carnival stage, delivering a thrilling series of performances. From high-energy street dance to perfectly synchronised duo rope skipping, these children handled every challenge with ease, igniting the atmosphere and drawing wave after wave of enthusiastic applause.

This year, we introduced a new interactive street dance session led by a professional coach, inviting the audience to dance and experience the boundless joy and energy of sports.

None of this would have been possible without the generous support of our donors to the MOVE70! Curriculum. Their unwavering support has given underprivileged children the chance to explore diverse sports, discover their sports interests, unleash their potential, and shine on a public stage like the AIA Carnival stage. We extend our deepest gratitude to every donor who made it possible for these children to gain invaluable public performance experience and courageously express themselves under the spotlight.
Through this performance, our students not only showcased the fruits of their dedicated training with excellence, but also built remarkable confidence, while gaining a deeper appreciation for the power of teamwork and mutual support.

Looking ahead to the new year, we are eager to continue uniting community goodwill and, together with you, witness our students keep surpassing themselves, harvesting more growth, confidence and joy on their journeys of sports and life!

“Jebsen InspiringHK!” Home SWEAT Home 2024-25 2nd Phase – Home Visits
We are thrilled to share that the home visits in the second phase of “Jebsen InspiringHK!” Home SWEAT Home 2024-25 was successfully held this month!
Organised by IHKSports and funded by Jebsen Group and the Partnership Fund for the Disadvantaged, this programme continues to bring healthy living directly into the community, reaching and uplifting more families in need.

On the day of home visits, our team became caring volunteers, personally visiting the homes of participating families to gain a better understanding of their living environments and daily needs. We also delivered the thoughtful “Sports Care Packs” to each family, and encouraged parents and children to exercise together while prioritising both physical and mental well-being.

Many parents shared heartwarming feedback during the visits that joining the parent-child sports classes has not only strengthened family bonds but also helped both adults and children build lasting healthy exercise habits, delivering noticeable positive changes to their overall health and happiness. These meaningful interactions brought our team closer to the community, allowing us to listen deeply to real needs of our beneficiaries and gather invaluable insights to refine future activities and programme enhancements.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Jebsen Group and the Partnership Fund for the Disadvantaged for their unwavering support. Together, we are making a real difference, fostering a community culture rooted in health, inclusion, and genuine care.
2025-26 WELL DUNK! Donors Networking Day
IHKSports was thrilled to host our 2025-26 WELL DUNK! Donors Networking Day last week, bringing together the programme’s donors, collaborators, and board members from IHKSports for a meaningful evening of connection!

The evening featured reflections on the successful first phase of our 7th season and a look ahead at future plans. A highlight was hearing the powerful stories of our student and alumni speakers, including Ivan Lo, a current Hong Kong Eastern player and WELL DUNK! alumnus, alongside three current students. Each shared inspiring reflections on their unique journeys through the programme, highlighting its impact on and off the court.

A fun WELL DUNK! trivia challenge sparked lively engagement, followed by an open networking session that energised conversations around youth development and future collaboration.

We sincerely thank every donor representative who took the time to attend, as well as Ivan and the students representatives for generously sharing their stories. We look forward to connecting with more like-minded partners at future events like these!

IHKSports Yoga Wellness Day
It’s that time again for our monthly “IHKSports Wellness Day”! This round’s theme was “Mindful Yoga”.

On the day, the entire IHKSports team left the office and headed to the indoor venue to practise yoga together. Among us were some experienced yoga practitioners, while quite a few colleagues were trying yoga for the very first time. Everyone was full of enthusiasm.
Under the guidance of a professional yoga instructor, we began with the basics: slow, deliberate inhales and exhales. From there, we gradually progressed into gentle-to-deeper stretching poses. During the lower-body stretches, many felt a strong pulling sensation in their muscles. The instructor explained that this is very common. Long hours of sitting combined with lack of regular movement often leave the body quite tight and stiff.
After the yoga class, many colleagues shared that they felt completely relaxed, with their minds and emotions no longer so tense. It was a truly positive experience. We hope that through this “IHKSports Wellness Day”, everyone is reminded to recognise and cherish their bodies. Let this serve as a gentle reminder for us to listen to our bodies and take good care of ourselves.
