Ambassadors and Athlete Supporters Involvement

We have over 60 athlete supporters from diverse backgrounds. They have all represented Hong Kong in international competitions and support the vision of IHKSports.

  • Three current and retired athletes, all fathers themselves, joined the Community Together Carnival with their children on Father’s Day 2024.
  • More than 50 athletes attended the Athletes Evening to kick off IHKSports’ 10th Anniversary Celebration!
Yiu Kit Ching

Olympic Marathoner

Yiu Kit Ching is a renowned marathon runner, retired in 2022. She became the fourth Hong Kong marathoner to qualify for the Olympics and competed in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.

Chan Ka Ho

Long-distance Runner & Coach

Chan Ka Ho is a renowned long-distance runner. He is the former HK record holder of the 3,000m steeplechase, 15km run and the half-marathon.

Au Hoi Shun

Five-time Olympic Swimmer

Stephanie Au Hoi-shun is a Hong Kong female swimmer who is also keen on public welfare and was selected as one of the “Top Ten Outstanding Youths” in 2020. She is the holder of multiple Hong Kong swimming records and has represented Hong Kong in various world competitions. She is the first ever five-time Olympian in Hong Kong history.

Fong Lik Sun

Olympic Swimmer & Celebrity

Dubbed the “Little Flying Fish”, Alex Fong is a former Hong Kong swimming team member and an Olympian. He had held several Hong Kong swimming records and some youth-grade records until 2021. Besides his sports achievements, he was also selected as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons by Junior Chamber International in 2014.

Ho Chu Ting

World-Class Rope-Skipper

Timothy Ho excels in both speed and freestyle skipping. He became the former world record holder of number of skips in three minutes in 2012, when he was just 17 years old. He broke the record for number of skips in three minutes, registering 500 to beat the previous total of 488.

Chan Yuen Ting (Cowball)

Football Coach

Chan Yuen Ting (as known as Cowball) is a former football player and coach. In 2016, she became the first woman to coach a men’s professional football team to the championship of a nation’s top league, and was chosen as one of BBC’s 100 Women. In 2017, she became the first woman to coach a male football club in a top-flight continental competition.

Kong Man Wai

Olympic Fencing Champion

Vivian Kong is a three-time individual Asian champion and three-time Olympian in Women’s Épée event. She won gold medal in women’s individual épée at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

On a side note, she graduated from Stanford University with a Major in International Relations and a Minor in Psychology.

Tso Sing Yu

World-Class Boxer

Rex Tso, the “Wonder Kid”, is a former professional boxer and now a amateur boxer and coach. He won 22 professional bouts without defeat in his career, with several regional titles. He was also ranked in the world top 10.
