“I have never had the habit of exercising, so I set a goal before to make myself healthy and positive. However, due to money concerns, the plan has been stuck at the starting point, but luckily I joined this class.
I never had the urge to acquire any new skill, let alone joining a competition outside of school. One of the biggest changes I find in myself after joining the programme is that I’m now a fearless person who would give it a try when I can. It was difficult to practise the tricks but I didn’t give up.”
I remembered that I had practised the same footwork over and over again in a two-hour class. I now realised that falling is not something to be ashamed of, but rather it only proved that I had the willpower to keep trying. I gained the courage to face challenges with more confidence and eagerness to try new things!
