Introduction
Fly High Together Charity Sports Programme was officially launched by Tencent Charity Foundation and Gaw Capital’s People’s Place. It aims to promote sports development and use sports to brighten the life paths of youth, injecting positive energy into society.
In its second year, the Fly High programme collaborates with four local charitable organisations – Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, Hong Kong Playground Association, InspiringHK Sports Foundation, and China Hong Kong Newly Emerged Sports Association, to bring sports culture to the community, foster youth sports integration, and create a positive and fervent sports atmosphere among the public.

Key activities
1.Kick-off Ceremony at the H.A.N.D.S. shopping mall
- The second year of the Kick-off Ceremony was held on 23 March 2025 at a People’s Place shopping mall – H.A.N.D.S. in Tuen Mun, attracting over 980 participants.
- Mr. TAI Sheung Shing, Victor, JP, the Under Secretary for Housing, as the guest of honor at this launch ceremony, and over 70 guests attended the event, including district council members, representatives from social welfare organizations, and athlete representatives.
- InspiringHK Sports Foundation set up four game booths at the “Sports Challenge Station”, including a cycling machine, rowing machine, handball throwing game, and fencing reaction lights.
- Additionally, three local charitable organisations collaborated to provide several sports booths and organise talent performance sessions, injecting energy into the community.
2.Parent-Child Sports Programme
- Regular exercise classes are provided for children and parents, conducted in parallel groups.
- The programme encourages participants to develop a habit of exercise while discovering the extraordinary potential of grassroots students.
- Caregivers are offered valuable time for rest and relaxation, enhancing their resilience and improving parent-child relationships.
3.Family Sports Day
- Parents, children, and the public are encouraged to participate in sports game booths, sports arts workshops, and home exercise workshops.
- The first Family Sports Day has been successfully held on August 3, 2025 (Sunday) at the Lee Cheng Uk Shopping Centre.
- The second Family Sports Day has been successfully held on August 31, 2025 (Sunday) at the Shek Lei Shopping Centre.
- The last Family Sports Day will be held on September 28, 2025 (Sunday) at the Lai Kok Shopping Centre. APPLY NOW
