Introduction

“Skinflex Club”, funded by the HKEX Foundation and organised by InspiringHK Sports Foundation, is designed for children affected by skin conditions (especially eczema) and their caregivers. The programme consists of indoor sports classes for children, health information talks for caregivers, and focus groups.

The programme aims to improve children’s mental health through fostering their confidence and expanding their social circles through sports. It also seeks to create a support network for caregivers, and to alter public perceptions about eczema patients’ participation in sports, promoting a comprehensive health management approach.
