The Fly High Together Charity Sports Programme – the 15th National Games: Shenzhen Exchange Tour 2025, fully sponsored and supported by Tencent Foundation and Gaw Capital’s People’s Place, and organised by IHKSports, successfully concluded on 22 November 2025. The immersive two-day, one-night experience for 34 students commenced in Qianhai, Shenzhen.

Day One: Innovation, Sports, and National Pride

The first stop was the Low-Altitude Economy Industry Public Service Centre, where students gained firsthand insights into this emerging sector’s role in shaping future cities through technological innovation. Following this, a visit to the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub provided exposure to the rapid development and vast opportunities within the Greater Bay Area, significantly broadening their horizons and sparking new perspectives.

The afternoon was dedicated to sports, with the group heading to the Shenzhen NBA Hoop Park at K11 ECOAST. Under the direction of professional coaches, students honed their basketball skills and engaged in high-energy, friendly matches, fostering team spirit and camaraderie.

The day concluded with the students joining local residents for the live broadcast of the spectacular Closing Ceremony of the 15th National Games. This technologically stunning and culturally rich waterfront production inspired a deep and lasting sense of national pride among all attendees.

Day Two: Vision for the Future and Cross-Border Bonds

Day Two commenced with visits to significant landmarks—the Qianhai Exhibition Hall, the Qianhai Kerry Centre, and the Qianhai Stone Park. These stops provided a comprehensive overview of Qianhai’s master plan and solidified the understanding of the Greater Bay Area’s strategic importance as an international hub for innovation and finance.

The afternoon highlight was a session of fun and connection at the Qianhai Ice and Snow World. Students enjoyed indoor skiing and winter sports alongside local youth groups, successfully using sport as a universal language to forge meaningful cross-border bonds and promote regional integration.
