Looking back on 2024, a year marked by growth and impact, we take pride in the significant milestones we achieved as a team:
1. Programme Innovation
We continued our commitment to innovation by successfully launching a range of new programmes and initiatives to address different social gaps this year. Notably, programmes like the Skinflex Club, catering to children with skin conditions through medical-social collaboration, and our Sports LinkVenture programme, offering underprivileged youth unique experiences in mountain, water and urban sports are showcases of our commitment to innovating our programmes to meet different needs creatively.
2. Quantifying Programme Impact
We have launched our new impact measurement model, the SET model, developed in partnership with Fullness Academy and in consultation with experts from Hong Kong Baptist University. Drawing reference from internationally recognised questionnaires, the SET model aims to scientifically quantify the impact of our programmes, enabling us to continuously improve and enhance the quality of our services.
3. Public Education Initiatives
From hosting community events to promoting sports, to the recent launch of the MVPA60HK Indicator in early December 2024, our public education endeavours have played a pioneering role in advocating active lifestyles among our youth and the broader community.
4. Governance Excellence
Our Board’s dedication to governance transparency and cybersecurity has been pivotal in maintaining the high work standards of our Foundation. We have been recognised under the “Platinum Tier” of the Cyber Security Staff Awareness Recognition Scheme 2024/25, acknowledging our commitment to best governance and cybersecurity practices.
5. Team Growth and Wellbeing
With the expansion of our team in both scale and diversity, the diverse backgrounds of our management team have enriched our strategic approach. We place great emphasis on staff wellbeing, organise regular wellness activities and even formed a new 3×3 basketball team among our staff, showcasing our effort in nurturing a supportive work environment.
