Tuen Mun Organic Farming Workshop for

“Street Dance Inspires!” & “Basketball Inspires!”

IHKSports recently led students from our “Street Dance Inspires!” and “Basketball Inspires!” classes under MOVE70! Curriculum to Thousand Islands Garden in Tuen Mun for a farm-based experiential workshop.

The success of this outing was made possible by the steadfast support of Tsit Wing Group. On the day, their volunteers worked shoulder to shoulder with our students as “junior farmers” — tilling, planting, and demonstrating that hard work and teamwork bear fruit. Students also learned to upcycle reclaimed coffee grounds into eco-friendly crafts. This immersive experience inspired them to integrate the values of waste reduction, food appreciation, and environmental responsibility into their daily lives.

A Greener Way to Play: Wastewi$e and Energywi$e Certificates

We believe that a healthy lifestyle is a two-way street: human health is deeply tied to the health of our planet. Just as we push ourselves to stay fit, we must also protect the environment that sustains us.

We are thrilled to share that IHKSports was recently awarded the Wastewi$e and Energywi$e Certificates by the Environmental Campaign Committee. This recognition celebrates our team’s daily commitment to saving energy and reducing waste in the office. While these may seem like small steps, they represent a meaningful commitment to our community.

At IHKSports, we choose to view health through a wider lens. Only by protecting the Earth can we keep the spaces where we hike, run, and play healthy and vibrant for a long time to come.

Slowing Down: Coffee Ground Painting

In collaboration with The Green Earth, we swapped our screens for paintbrushes in a unique coffee ground painting workshop. It was a reminder that mental health should not be an afterthought. By slowing down to create art, we even discovered some hidden talents among our team that we never knew we had!

Moving Forward: Plogging at Dragon’s Back

Sweat meets sustainability! Our team headed to Dragon’s Back for a day of plogging (picking up litter while hiking). Following the “Leave No Trace” philosophy, we turned our workout into a cleanup mission. It was our way of giving back to the trails we love, ensuring our natural landscapes stay as vibrant as the community that enjoys them.

Champions for a Cause: Celebrating IHKSports Double Winat JC Fit City Fitness Competition

We are proud to share that our team recently competed in the Fitness Competition as part of our ongoing “10,000kcal Burn Challenge @ MOVE & RAISE Charity Sports Challenge”. This race was more than just a display of our team’s strength and synergy, it was a mission to transform every drop of sweat into tangible social impact.

We are honoured to have secured two major awards in the competition:

🥇 Champion – Corporate Mixed Relay Team

🥈1st Runner-up – Open Women’s Relay Team

To us, these accolades represent far more than just trophies; they are a testament to our commitment to the youth. Every calorie we burned on the field was dedicated to raising funds to provide professional sports training for underprivileged children and youth in Hong Kong, empowering them with the courage and ability to reshape their lives through sports.
