30 Days to go! With just a month until 19 November 2026, momentum continues to build across Hong Kong for “Legacy in the Waves: Alex Fong Hong Kong–Macau Charity Swim 2026”. Prominent leaders across the public and corporate sectors have stepped forward, alongside celebrated public figures contributing inspirational video messages.
Across diverse industries and generations, our shared commitment remains firm: to unite city-wide support into sustainable sports resources for underprivileged youth and children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
All funds raised directly provide underprivileged and SEN students with equal access to sports training and gear:
- HK$100: Provides 1 underprivileged student with a full year of basic sports gear
- HK$500: Sponsors 1 student with SEN to receive a full term of professional sports training
- HK$1,000: Sponsors 2 underprivileged students to participate in a year of professional basketball training and league matches

Successful Conclusion of the Launch Press Conference and Inaugural Baby Athletic Meet for “Legacy in the Waves: Alex Fong Hong Kong–Macau Charity Swim 2026”
IHKSports Ambassador, Mr. Alex Fong, will officially embark on the “Legacy in the Waves: Alex Fong Hong Kong–Macau Charity Swim 2026” challenge on 19 November. To mark this milestone, our Launch Press Conference was successfully held at Olympian City 2 on 19 September, officially kicking off the campaign alongside distinguished leaders from the public and business sectors, corporate partners, and the community.
The event gathered distinguished guests and corporate partners, with officiating guests presiding over the kick-off ceremony. Alex shared insights into his rigorous training regimen and mental preparation, demonstrating his unwavering determination to conquer the challenge. Youth beneficiaries from “STREET DANCE Inspires!” delivered an energetic performance showcasing their self-confidence and vitality, a compelling testament to the impact of channeling community resources into youth empowerment.
The event also featured our inaugural “Legacy in the Waves: Baby Athletic Meet”, inspiring young children through sports while bringing the community together for a worthy cause. Alex made a heartwarming public appearance alongside his daughter Isla for the first time, leading by example to pass down the values of sportsmanship and social responsibility, further reinforcing the spirit of “Legacy in the Waves”.
This demanding 35km cross-sea endurance challenge will take place on 19 November (Thursday), spanning from Kai Yat Kok on Lantau Island, Hong Kong, to Hac Sa Beach in Macau, with an estimated duration of 9 hours. Beyond testing physical and mental resilience, this initiative serves as a crucial catalyst for unlocking equal sporting opportunities for underprivileged youth.

Every donation not only fuels this cross-sea challenge, but also directly provides long-term sports training programmes for underprivileged youth and students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), empowering them to rebuild self-confidence and pursue their dreams. Basketball Icon Allen Iverson Visited a Hong Kong School, Inspiring 30 Local Students Under the Jockey Club Believe & Bounce Basketball Programme Through Basketball and Stories of Resilience
Basketball icon Allen Iverson visited ELCHK Hung Hom Lutheran Primary School recently, where he met 30 local students of the Rising Stars 3×3 Basketball Development in Primary Schools Programme under the Jockey Club Believe & Bounce Basketball Programme: InspiringHK Dream Factory. The school visit was a special activity arranged by IHKSports to enrich participating students’ learning experience where Iverson provided mentorship and skills guidance, as well as shared personal stories of resilience with the students.
During the activity, 30 primary school students showcased their skills and teamwork under the guidance of the coaching team. Iverson observed the session and personally offered guidance and encouragement. In addition, Iverson took part in a sharing session, answered students’ questions, and discussed how to overcome adversity, maintain self-confidence, and pursue their dreams. The activity concluded with a group photo session, during which Iverson presented souvenirs, including a signed basketball, creating unforgettable memories for the students.

In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, we recently hosted a “Handcrafted Lantern Workshop,” providing our team with a mindful respite to focus on holistic well-being while fostering organisational cohesion.
Stepping away from daily operations, team members channelled their creativity into assembling, painting, and finishing bespoke festive lanterns. The collaborative atmosphere and engaging dynamics underscored the strong alignment and camaraderie across our team.
