Dicky Louie @Executive Sports Challenge

As the President of Hong Kong Decoration & Engineering Association and Chairman of the Construction Industry Council – Youth Affairs Committee (Promotion and Education), Dicky Louie has always been known as a “non-stop” industry leader. With heavy public duties and a constant stream of social engagements, his schedule is always packed.

“I used to think that while you’re young, you have to give it your all and push forward.”

However, a recent routine health checkup gave him a gentle reminder—it was time to pause his hectic pace and seriously re-evaluate the lifestyle habits he had previously overlooked. It made him deeply realize that without a healthy body, even the grandest ideals and most ambitious careers cannot last.

“Health is the foundation that allows us and those around us to go further.”

Through the IHKSports’ “Executive Sports Challenge”, Dicky has decided to issue a challenge to himself!

Personal Challenge Goal: “Maintain a daily exercise routine for one month, burning at least 200 calories every day, and rediscover a healthier self!”

For Dicky, this is not only a personal commitment to his own health, but also a way to lead by example.

As the Chairman of the Youth Affairs Committee (Promotion and Education), Dicky deeply understands the importance of sports for young people’s growth. All funds raised through this challenge will go directly to InspiringHK Sports Foundation to provide regular, high-quality sports training for local underprivileged children and youth. This helps them build confidence and perseverance through sports, rewriting their life journeys through hard work and sweat.
