About the Campaign
Supporting Alex: Making the Impossible Possible for the Next Generation
Sin Yin is currently in K2 and is 4 years and 2 months old. She has set herself a personal challenge: from 19 September to 19 November, she will complete seven hours of moderate- to high-intensity exercise every week. Her activities will include ice-skating, gymnastics, swimming, touch rugby, roller skating, hiking and running.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO)’s guidelines for four-year-old children, young children should accumulate at least 180 minutes, or three hours, of physical activity of varying intensity each day. This includes walking, active play and outdoor activities. Of this total, at least 60 minutes should be moderate- to vigorous-intensity activity—such as games or exercise that make children sweat, breathe faster or experience an increased heart rate.

Why does Yan Yee support Alex?
Through this challenge, Shin Yin hopes to lead by example and raise HK$20,000 in support of the InspiringHK Sports Foundation to achieve its vision of “Better Youths Through Sports”. She also wishes to cheer on Uncle Alex as he undertakes the remarkable charity swim from Hong Kong to Macau on 19 November.
