IHKSports is seeking a talented individual as our Fundraising & Partnership Executive. Our executive will be based in Hong Kong, working under the direction of the Fundraising & Partnership Manager.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with the fundraising team to maintain ongoing communication and gather feedback from over 70 existing foundations and corporate grant-makers/donors;
  • Assist in the setup and timely maintenance of the donor and stakeholder CRM system;
  • Plan and execute corporate volunteering engagement activities, working closely with programme team staff and corporate partner representatives;
  • Help organise fundraising events such as movie premieres and walkathons;
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new collaborative sports programmes that align with our four missions and create a meaningful impact;
  • Support the writing of fundraising proposals in English and Chinese for funding applications;
  • Support programme staff in writing partnership reports to communicate funding impact to partners;
  • Work closely with the communications team to communicate programme output and outcomes to partners, potential donors and the general public;
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

  • A Degree holder in any discipline with at least 2 years’ experience in any industry with a track record of stakeholder management and intensive copywriting work. Fresh graduates with excellent Chinese and English writing skills will also be considered
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese, fluent in Mandarin is a plus;
  • Strong sports/charity sense, creative and independent;
  • A leader to host and manage events with confidence and a sense of team;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic;
  • A strong team player capable of working with different personalities from different functional backgrounds;
  • Strong ability to complete multiple assignments concurrently whilst balancing competing priorities and meeting deadlines;
  • Willing to travel to various districts in Hong Kong in weekday evenings and weekends, with transport subsidy and compensation leave;
  • Knowledge of and passion for sports and the charitable sector preferred.

IHKSports is seeking a talented individual as our Assistant Marketing & Communications Manager / Marketing & Communications Manager. Our manager will be based in Hong Kong, working under the direction of the Deputy Chief Executive.

 

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Strategy – Closely work with the Deputy Chief Executive to plan for the upcoming marketing strategies to strengthen our brand image, brand identity and fundraising effort as well as better communicate our social impact to the public;
  • Events – Assist the Fundraising team to plan and organise events that serve the purpose of fundraising, such as seasonal campaigns, organization branding events, running competitions etc.;
  • Events – Support events organised by the programme team to advise them on branding, event management & execution;
  • Marketing & Communications – Conduct analysis, provide insight and support to the Foundation to better understand market trends, youth trends and dynamics. Identify opportunities in markets where there are unmet needs;
  • Marketing & Communications – To manage the Communications Team in the marketing team to support the day-to-day work of the charity, including but not limited to managing the production of annual reports, brochures, eDMs, e-newsletters, presentations, social media posts and other corporate communication materials etc. to develop the highest standards of marketing communication collaterals in line with organisation guidelines;
  • Marketing & Communications – To collaborate with programme staff to develop compelling storytelling to convey how donors’ contributions are being used on the ground, including but not limited to photo and video presentation, reaching out to media agencies and encouraging the reporting of events and stories;
  • Marketing & Communications – Assist the Public Education Team to build awareness for public education and advocacy campaigns.
  • Visit IHKSports classes/activities regularly to understand the organisation work at the front-line;
  • Perform any other marketing-related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • A Degree holder in any discipline with 5-7 years’ experience in communications/ charity marketing/sports marketing/event management. Candidates with less experience might be considered for the Assistant Manager position;
  • Proven track record of collaborative approach to problem solving, experience building internal relationships and operating effectively with cross-functional partners, experience advising teams, and senior executives on fundraising & marketing matters;
  • Responsive to WhatsApp group messages and emails, strong resilience to work under stress;
  • Strong finance acumen;
  • Strong sports/charity marketing sense, creative and independent;
  • A leader to host and manage events with confidence and a sense of teamwork;

InspiringHK Sports Foundation is seeking a talented individual as our Senior Programme Officer/Assistant Programme Manager. Our Manager will be based in Hong Kong, working under the direction of the Senior Programme Manager.

 

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead a team of colleagues and interns to carry out the Jockey Club Believe & Bounce Basketball Programme: InspiringHK Dream Factory, a basketball programme targeting primary school students.  
  • To work closely with our funders, project partners, schools, community centres, coaching partners (multiple sports types), social workers, teachers, parents, and beneficiaries.
  • Work closely with the Senior Programme Manager and Deputy Chief Executives to monitor progress and expenditure of the responsible programmes, to ensure requirements from the funder are being met and within our scope and budget;
  • Prepare Programme progress reports and maintain records in finance and accounting to reimburse fees from the grant-maker in a timely manner;
  • Proactively establish and maintain partnerships with government authorities, corporates, local secondary schools, youth community centers, marketing agencies, sports associations, media and other relevant stakeholders to deliver the Programme elements and enrich students’ learning experience;
  • Conduct impact measurement, including but not limited to data collection, data analysis and data reporting, qualitative interviews and focus group evaluation; research on different impact measurement models and review on IHKSports’ current model;
  • Organise and handle logistics of the programme activities and events of different scales, including but not limited to territory-wide events that might involve senior officials from corporates and the government;
  • Internally coordinate with other full-time members to support the development of other new programmes;
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 6 years’ experience in NPO/social service organisations/ community services/sports management. A social work licence is not compulsory. Candidates with more experience will be considered for the Assistant Manager role. 
  • Solid leadership experience in leading a team of junior staff;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese; Proficiency in Excel;
  • Demonstrate a strong passion in youth work/sports/volunteering/partnership management;
  • A strong team player capable of working with different personalities from different functional backgrounds; 
  • Strong ability to complete multiple assignments concurrently whilst balancing competing priorities and meeting deadlines;
  • Organised and detail-oriented with high integrity; 
  • Willing to occasionally travel to various districts in Hong Kong in weekday evenings and weekends, with transport subsidy and compensation leave; 
  • Knowledge of and passion for InspiringHK Sports Foundation and the charitable sector preferred.
