IHKSports is seeking a talented individual as our Marketing & Communications Officer/Executive. Our executive will be based in Hong Kong, working under the direction of the line manager, and collaborate with the staff and board members in serving our vision and missions.

 

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist the line manager and support the communications team to ensure all publications align with relevant branding guidelines and communication objectives; 
• Assist in maintenance of the organisation’s website and social media platforms, including creation of high-quality and engaging content across publication materials including but not limited to social media posts, annual reports, press releases;
• To liaise with vendors and agencies to ensure a high standard of publication and promotion of IHKSports programmes, events and campaigns including development of content strategy, promotion plans, etc.;
• Coordinate with Programme Teams on day-to-day public-facing materials and ensure accuracy and approval for all content development and publications;
• Support events and advise them on branding, event management & execution, such as handling of press releases, media interviews and enquiries;
• Assist line manager in coordination of external service providers, including but not limited to marketing performance agencies, website vendors, designers, photographers and videographers;
• Assist the communications team in regular meetings with programme teams to offer insight in current and emerging industry trends, best practices, and emerging content formats to continually enhance content quality and effectiveness;
• Perform any other relevant duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Language, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. 
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in marketing, communication, event management, journalism or other relevant fields. Candidates with more experience may be considered for the Officer role.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic; 
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Cantonese; strong Chinese writing skills are highly preferred; 
• Good understanding of various digital communication channels, including social media platforms, website management and email newsletters;
• Proficiency in AI/Photoshop skills is a plus;
• Organised, meticulous attention to details;
• Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Proficiency in using productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace;
• Willing to occasionally travel to various districts in Hong Kong in weekday evenings and weekends, with transport subsidy and compensation leave; 
• Knowledge of and passion for InspiringHK Sports Foundation and the charitable sector preferred.

InspiringHK Sports Foundation is seeking a talented individual as our Programme Executive/Programme Officer. Our Executives/Officer will be based in Hong Kong, working under the direction of the Assistant Programme/Programme Managers.

 

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Plan and full execution of the following programmes:
  • Sports LinkVenture 2.0 for secondary school students: manage and delivery programme which challenges youth through series of mountain, city and water sports
  • MOVE70! sports training programmes for low-income primary school students: Manage and deliver a variety of sports classes, organise learning experience activities that enrich students’ learning beyond sports, promote the joy of participation in sports to public through community events
• Support and monitor the expenditure of the responsible programme, to ensure that it will achieve their objectives, meet our pledges, and be carried out within our scope and budget;
• Manage students and parents, including but not limited to managing WhatsApp groups’ communications, discipline of participation, answering questions and coordinating their sports and other learning experiences;
• Work closely with the partnership management team and the marketing team to communicate programme output and outcomes to relevant stakeholders;
• Create written content for email and social media communications; 
• Lead part-time staff/interns to support the programme delivery;
• Support big data collection, the writing of programme reports and conduct impact measurement analysis;
• Participate in the design of new cross-sector collaborative sports programmes for IHKSports that could create impact in alignment with the four missions;
• Perform any other duties or other programmes as assigned.

 

Qualifications 

• A Degree holder in any discipline with at least 2 years’ experience in charity/ community services/sports management might be considered for the Officer role. Candidates with less experience/fresh graduates would be considered for the Executive role.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese;
• Demonstrate a strong passion for youth work/sports/volunteering/partnership management;
• A strong team player capable of working with different personalities from different functional backgrounds; 
• Strong ability to complete multiple assignments concurrently whilst balancing competing priorities and meeting deadlines;
• Organised and detail-oriented with high integrity; 
• Willing to occasionally travel to various districts in Hong Kong on weekday evenings and weekends, with transport subsidy and compensation leave; 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AI/Photoshop skills is a plus;
• Knowledge of and passion for InspiringHK Sports Foundation and the charitable sector preferred.

• Good computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

IHKSports is seeking a talented individual as our Fundraising & Partnership Officer. Our officer will be based in Hong Kong, working under the direction of the Fundraising & Partnership Manager.

 

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Collaborate with the fundraising team to maintain ongoing communication and gather feedback from over 70 existing foundations and corporate grant-makers/donors;
• Assist in the setup and timely maintenance of the donor and stakeholder CRM system;
• Plan and execute corporate volunteering engagement activities, working closely with programme team staff and corporate partner representatives;
• Help organise fundraising events such as movie premieres and walkathons;
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new collaborative sports programmes that align with our four missions and create a meaningful impact;
• Support the writing of fundraising proposals in English and Chinese for funding applications;
• Support programme staff in writing partnership reports to communicate funding impact to partners; 
• Work closely with the communications team to communicate programme output and outcomes to partners, potential donors and the general public; 
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

• A Degree holder in any discipline with at least 2 years’ experience in any industry with a track record of stakeholder management and intensive copywriting work. Fresh graduates with excellent Chinese and English writing skills will also be considered for the executive role;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese, fluent in Mandarin is a plus;
• Strong sports/charity sense, creative and independent;
• A leader to host and manage events with confidence and a sense of team; 
• Excellent interpersonal skills, outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic;
